Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
Every year, North Center joins thousands of other SBC churches in giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Lottie Moon was sent as a missionary to China from 1873–1912. While she was there, she had a front row seat to the world’s greatest problem: LOSTNESSS. Meeting so many people who had never heard the gospel compelled her to write letters to American churches describing the need for a greater missionary presence. She pleaded for increased prayer and financial support to send and sustain more missionaries. This challenge became known as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Last year, as a result of this offering, over 3,500 missionaries were supported, 21,000 new churches were planted, 67 new people groups were engaged, 175,000 people trusted in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and 100,000 believers were baptized. Will you join us in praying for and giving toward this great work this Christmas?
