Before Jesus ascended to His throne at the right hand of the Father, He told His followers to “make disciples of all the nations” (Matt 28:19). Throughout eternity, every tribe, tongue, people, and nation will be gathered around the throne (Rev 5:9; 7:9–10). Joshua Project is a research initiative seeks to play a part in the Great Commission by gathering, compiling, and sharing information regarding the least-reached people groups in order to encourage church-planting movements among every ethnic group and to help coordinate missionary efforts. According to the Joshua Project, there are still over 7,000 unreached people groups across the world.
