A Rest for the People of God

In Hebrews 4, we learn what it means to enter into the sabbath rest of God through faith in the finished work of Jesus. He has given us rest in Him. He has given us His Word as our weapon in the fight for faith. And He has given us mercy, grace, and help every step of the way. Above all, He has given us Himself. He alone is able to help us in our journey of faith because He alone knows what it's like to endure our temptations and weakness without sin. So "let us come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need" (4:16).
