Born and raised in Minnesota, Matt was exposed to Christianity during his childhood (going to church services and attending Bible camp), but it wasn’t until he started attending North Center in 2007 that his relationship with Jesus began to grow. Matt began spending time in God’s Word, and eventually he and his wife Tisha developed a youth program at North Center. He was called to serve as an elder at North Center in 2020. Matt and Tisha have two adult children: Wyatt and Jazmyn. Their favorite past times include softball, bags (corn hole), smoking meats, weekends at the cabin, and cheering on their local sports teams. One of Matt’s favorite promises from God’s Word is that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).
