In the life of the Church, colors serve as visual theology, proclaiming the truths of the gospel to our eyes as well as our ears. We celebrate Resurrection Sunday with gold and white draped over the cross. Gold proclaims Christ’s royal victory—our risen King who has conquered sin and death—while white declares the purity and joy of His resurrection, as He stands spotless and triumphant, clothing His people in righteousness.
