ARTICLE VI - BUSINESS MEETINGS
An annual business meeting of the members shall be held in December of each year with the Senior Pastor serving as moderator. The purpose of this meeting shall be to adopt an annual budget and to act on any matters recommended by the Leadership Team. Notification of the annual business meeting will be given to the Church body at least one month (30 days) in advance.
The Leadership Team may call special meetings at any time for any purpose by giving notice to the members at least one week in advance. Business meetings will be scheduled to approve the calling or removal of the Senior Pastor, to approve the calling of any ministerial staff, to approve members of the Leadership Team, to approve members of the Deacon team, to approve church officials (i.e., Treasurer; Clerk), to purchase property, to enter a building program, to borrow funds, or to amend the Church's constitution. In case of a serious emergency when time is of the essence, the one-week notification can be waived if approved by 75% of those voting at the business meeting; a bona fide effort to notify the Church of the special business meeting must still be made.
